top 10 in demand raw food products

By Emma Jul 23 8

OH YEAH!  Quite fancy myself as a top tenner (tenner not tenor), like a Radio 1 DJ!  Remember you used to record your favourite songs from the Top 40 pressing the record button (or record and play?) on your tape player (YES TAPE PLAYER) and squeeze as much of the song on it as you could before the DJ would start speaking again?  Then have to rewind the tape to get to back to the bit before he spoke?  Awesome!

Where was I?

YES!  Top 10 in demand raw products as voted by YOU!  Maybe not by all of you but certainly by some of you on the Raw Food Scotland facebook page.  If you’re on facebook you can join the banter.  If you’re not on facebook, don’t join!  Just don’t!  It becomes more addictive than smack covered raw chocolate with extra coffee and heroin and…

So here you go, your top 10 favourite in demand raw food products 🙂

in demand raw food products

In at 10 – it’s MACA!  Yep, this cheeky herbaceous biennial is straight in at number 10 with ‘Adaptogen’ taken from her first album ‘I will regulate your hormones’.

This week’s number 9 – it’s a climber, SPRING WATER!  This centuries old favourite is showing no signs of disappearing with the brand new hit ‘Checkin’ out my TDS?’

Hot at 8 this week – CHIA SEEDS!  A favourite with the pudding lovers, this cheeky little number is guaranteed to satisfy with their latest entry ‘Chia up darling’ from their second album ‘Super Hy-drate’.

New in at 7 – It’s SPIRALISER with their dance sensation ‘Spaghetti Frenzy’.

Sexy at 6 – GREEN SMOOTHIES have done it again!  Following on from their last hit ‘I will make you love your greens’, ‘The Smoo’s’ follow up with their latest hit ‘I see you baby, drinking that slime’.

Holding steady at 5 – it’s JUICER!  Last week’s number 4, JUICER drops a place this week with ‘Don’t clean me, I like it dirty’…

Straight in at number 4 – it’s FOOD PROCESSOR with his debut solo song ‘Pulse me gently’.

Sizzling at 3 – contraversial as ever, last week’s number 2 is this week’s number 3!  CACAO with ‘Don’t call me Cocoa’, the second hit taken from her fifth album ‘Adrenal Love’.

Straight in at number 2 this week….(long dramatic pause)…..it’s GREENS!  Just missing out on the Number 1 position this week with their debut hit ALKALIZE.

Which means this week’s number 1, for the fourteenth week running is – VITAMIX with ‘I may be noisy baby but you like it’ from her platinum selling album ‘2 Horsepower’

Woop!

Have I missed out your favourite in the top 10?  Do add it as a comment below so that everyone can see how awesome you are! 🙂

Speaking of Top 10, I had this song on my mix tape for ages with a bit of Steve Wright talking over it.  So much so what he said became part of the song in my memory.  Random and totally boring fact for you there… 🙂

It’s interesting raw cacao is still controversial. I seem to do really well with it. And who can not like spring water? 🙂
