Today I had my first ever rosehip! Wow, 31 years it’s taken me to try these little beauties out! Did you know that rose hips have up to 60% more vitamin C than citrus fruit? In addition to vitamins C, E, and K, rose hips contain calcium, citric acid, iron, niacin, phosphorus, vitamin A, B1, B2, and P…I didn’t even know there was a vitamin P! Where have I been getting my vitamin P up to now is what I want to know 🙂 Be careful of the seeds, they give you itchy bum syndrome…
Anyway, I picked a few and juiced them with wild raspberries, blackberries and some apple I picked from the walled garden.
Oh yes, I made a cultured almond coconut yoghurt using fresh young baby coconuts after I watched this liferegenerator vid. Lou Corona be da man! Can you believe he’s 900 years old??
I didn’t use the probiotic blend Lou uses or the other mad powder thing but used about 4 capsules of Nature’s Biotic blend which contains lots of good bacteria and soil based organisms. I’m absolutely convinced the key to good health lies in the gut.
So I took the yoghurt and put it in the food processor with 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder, 1 tbsp coconut palm sugar, 1 cup strawberries and 1/2 cup blueberries and gave it 5 wee bursts. It was absolutely delicious!
I also had some amazing cake from Grassroots. This one is the best choc cake ever with fresh raspberries through it. I’m probably officially the most in love with my food ever.
Brining you a fabby 11 questions tomorrow…
peace x
The yoghurt sounds lovely Em, I’ve been wanting to make some too. Will probably have to do without the young coconuts though so I hope it’s still nice and creamy.

It was really lovely, I had more for breakfast this morning – really creamy strawberry yoghurt. I’m sure it’d work just as well without the coconuts although see woo still has plenty if you’re looking for some xx
