Woop reviewing is my second favourite pastime after eating raw choc of course. Reviewing raw choc is therefore my number one favourite pastime but unfortunately I haven’t done it in a while. I would put it on my list of things to do but i threw out my things to do book after I discovered it was stressing me out so that my thing to do became stop doing things to do but I couldn’t write that down on my things to do book cos it wasn’t there and then my head exploded. Anyway, where was I?
YES! Today I’m reviewing Kate’s Magic Bubble which is the membership site for Kate Magic, raw magicianess – is that the female word for magician? Hang on will have to google…yes it is – and author of raw food books such as Eat Smart Eat Raw, Raw Living, Ecstatic Beings and my all time fave raw superfood recipe book Raw Magic. Kate has put together her magic bubble as she calls it which contains the very best information she has to share from her 20 odd years living ecstatically on raw foods.
The idea of the site is you pay a fee per month and become a member with access to fantastic recipes, audio interviews with other raw speakers, discounts from raw online stores such as Raw Living and Raw Food World Store, videos, Q&A sessions and there’s even some music mixes thrown in for good measure.
The recipes are fab and are updated on a regular basis. Kate has already proved how much of a raw goddess she is in the kitchen (and on the patio) with her previous recipe books but these recipes as she says just keep getting better! I’m loving the look of the Inca-redible cake!!
The videos are a mixed bag from classes – if you missed Kate’s raw food classes in Glasgow and Edinburgh earlier this year there’s a chance to see a snippet from the class held at Grassroots! The vids also include interviews and making recipes.
The audio interviews cover a wide range of subject matter as well as raw related with Matt Monarch as an example.
My favourite part of the site by far is the articles. There’s such a breadth of material covering all aspects of the lifestyle and my top three for sure are Transition Town which talks about transitioning to raw foods, Oh my Goddess revealing Kate’s thoughts on sexuality and relationships and On the Road – a must for all travelling rawbies!
All site content is continually updated to keep it fresh and sexy.
Ooh ooh my other favourite part is the discounts available to members with 10% of all orders at Raw Living and 12% orders at Raw Food World Store. I love a good discount 😉
There’s currently a sale on membership if you sign up before 1st August you get 30% off monthly membership and an additional 10% off annual membership which works out about $10 or £6 a month which you can cancel anytime – unlike gym membership! 🙂 You also get a 40% discount if you pay in one lump sum for the year which works out at $90 or £60.
Check it out at Kate’s Magic Bubble
Did you know Kate’s chocolate bar Lucky Me is named after a Glasgow music collective? You literally learn something new every damn day! 🙂
