Ever wondered what the raw food journey would look like on a GRAPH? Course you have. I knew it!!
Check out this 2 min video I did about what the raw food journey graph-stylee to illustrate what I think the raw food journey ought to look like…
Pretttttty goooood eh? Especially considering I failed maths! Well, I got a D, that’s not technically a fail is it?
Now that you’ve watched the vid, you’ll understand my approach to raw foods. I’m really not about the 100% overnight RAW OR DIE approach. I’ve been there, done that and got several t-shirts. It’s not about being raw, it’s about incorporating raw food in to your existing diet to a level that suits you at a rate that doesn’t rock your boat too much so that you’re all over the place…
Nope. What I want to see is a big smiley face on your graph…and on your actual face. Yo-yo-ing from high raw to high cooked back and forth back and forth means that you’re trying to go TOO FAST for your body. What’s the rush?
Remember this is a process…
More about this slow and steady wins the race is to be found in my deeeeelightful book So You Want To Be A Raw Foodist?
So I want you to remember to TAKE IT SLOW. ENJOY the process. If this isn’t enjoyable then you’re maybe trying to eat more raw with your mind than with your body…
Check out this post on Why I recommend the second graph
Love your graph Emma but out of curiosity why do you recommend the second graph when you say you yourself did not take that route but followed the first graph, with the comment that your journey was an excellent one and you wouldn’t change it for the world. Perhaps it’s more realistic for people to jump in, experiment have fun and feel the benefits which anchors them into wanting to keep eating raw, even on days when its all gone tits up. Or do you feel the slow and steady will reap longer term benefits?
