Yes really.
No I’m not drunk or high on crack. Ok I have had one glass of wine…maybe two, but I still know what I’m on about. Honest!
I truly believe there’s a connection here, let me tell you why.
I read this post this morning and it got me thinking.
When I eat lots of healthy raw food I am treating my body with respect. I am respecting myself. I am honouring my body. When I eat shit I am disrespecting myself. I am dishonouring my body. I am treating myself badly.
When I make poor choices about what to feed my awesome body I’m essentially sending a message to my unconscious or to the universe (yeah I know, bit woo woo eh?) that I’m not worthy of feeling good…of being honoured. When I act this way towards myself is it any wonder that others will treat me this way? How you show up in one aspect of your life is how you show up in everything. If I don’t honour myself when it comes to nourishing my body am I likely to honour myself in my relationships with others? In how I choose to live my life? Nuh-uh!
The truth is if you don’t treat yourself like the perfect, wonderful, lovely being you are then how can you expect others to do so?
We get what we give.
And so I am good to myself. I respect my body and I feed it with the best possible food because that’s what I deserve. I deserve the best. When I treat myself the best most respectful way possible then I am sending out the message to myself (and others) that I am worthy of being treated well. And this is what shows up in my life. EVERY SINGLE TIME!
Eat chips = attract the epitome of chips in all aspects of your life.
Eat healthy and wonderful foods = attract the epitome of all that is good and worthy in your life.
Try it for yourself. See if you notice a difference when you start to treat yourself the way you deserve to be treated. You will attract more of that worthiness and respect in to your life. I guarantee it!
