post-workout gloop

By Emma Jan 25 3

Hey sexy peeps!  Just back in from a 10 mile bike ride.  Have been a bit lax with the exercise of late, unless you count dancing my ass off in a club at the weekend as exercise?  Actually yes, that most definitely counts!  Anyway, I needed something quick and sexy to perk up my post-workout bod and this did the ticket just nicely (is that a saying?).

I’m really all about juicy and simple right now so here you have it, weirdy post-workout gloopy gloop.

Weirdy Workout Gloop

1 punnet blueberries

1 pear

1 stick celery

1 tsp klamath blue green algae

1 tsp chlorella

squeeze orange juice

Put all ingredients in your food processor and process until nice consistency.  I like CHUNK!!

exercise smoothie

CHUNK!

The blueberries are sky-high in antioxidants.  The pear is just yummy and in my fruit basket going off.  The celery has great minerals and salts to replenish the body.  The chlorella and algae are GREAT SOURCES OF PROTEIN and very highly assimilatable (that’s clearly not a word) by the body and the orange juice cuts the bitterness of the algae.  Sorted.  If you don’t have the algae and chlorella no worries, this is still super yum.

Another raw food potluck tonight at the fabby Grassroots.  We had 10 people on the waiting list for this meetup can you believe?  So I’ve found us a bigger venue (The Flying Duck Glasgow) for some big rootin’ tootin’ potlucks.

Anyway, off to go stretch it out with some yoga – check me!  Have an AMAZING day!!
