I got my highly anticipated order through from Viva Pure! I do tend to get very, very excited when I know there’s a parcel of pure pleasure on its way to tantalise my tastebuds and this order was no different, in fact it was probably THE most exciting! You see, Viva Pure is the newest online shop in the UK catering to the avid raw foodie who, bit like myself, likes to get yummy pre-packaged raw treats and snacks to devour without having to spend oodles of days in the kitchen.
What makes this website different however is that apart from having all the usual superfoody goodness you can find at most UK online raw sources, it also has a barage, yes a BARAGE of things that you just can’t get in this country! When I make my way to NYC I can spend hours (ask the husband) trawling the aisles (YES AISLES) in Lifethyme Supermarket OOOHing and AAAAAHing at the sheer range of raw treats our friends on the other side of the pond are lucky enough to have to choose from. They don’t know how lucky they are! I can’t wait till I ask Mr Tesco Man “Excuse me, where is the raw aisle?”
“Why it’s aisle 18 Madam”
“Thank you my good sir”
Anyway, where was I? Yes, so Viva Pure has gone that step further and brought in a selection of delights only currently to be enjoyed by our US friends including Vegan Cheesey Crumbles, Maca Crispies, Kale Crisps, Sprouted Sauerkraut crackers, Nori Nachos, Krispie Treats, Cereal, Goji Porridge, Spirulina Cracklets, Stuffed Nori Wraps, Live Chia Wraps, Crisp Breads, Pizza Breads, CHOCOLATE, Courgette Chips, Green Smoothie Crackers – you get the idea! LOADS of sexy stuff!
Overall I am literally in love with this website and all the food. I’m not exaggerating, if I could marry it all I would.
I actually am in LOVE with the Maca Crispies – they are little chunks of maca powder all chunked together in to crispie bites a bit bigger than bee pollen and totally amazing to sprinkle over your puds or cereals! Here they are sprinkled over my purple power pudding (kate magic recipe) I had for breakfast yesterday with bee pollen and crystal manna. They taste better than maca powder in my opinion and nice and crunchy!
I also got the cheesy kale crisps. I’d sell my own mother for these. I hope you realise how hard it was to ensure there were any left to even take a photo of! 🙂 I defy anyone to try kale crisps and not become an instant kale crisp addict.
I decided to try all the crackery type stuff in one massive sprouted cracker orgyfest with broccoli bonkers. I got the sprouted green smoothie crackers, chia crackers, sprouted sauerkraut crackers (garlic and dill) and the nori nachos.
Let me start by saying that taking in to consideration I said I’d marry all this food, the sprouted sauerkraut cracker is the one I’d cheat on all the others for and then run away to Costa Rica with. It is without a doubt the most gorgeous tasting cracker ever. It kinda melts in your mouth and has a slightly creamy and cheesy taste but just OHHH GOD AMAZING!
The green smoothie crackers are awesome, with a lemony bite – AMAZING.
The nori nachos are nice and crispy and cheesy and er, AMAZING.
Chia crackers are essential-fatty-acid tastic. Really MMMM.
I also bought the Hemp and raw choc spread which I haven’t got round to using properly yet but mixed it in with some choc pudding to put on top of a luverly Kate Magic cake and it was hempylicious with chocolate on top.
What else did I get?
Oh yes, Spirulina Cracklets! I have no idea how this is done but by some magikal process spirulina is turned in to crunchy strands of spirulina goodness with shakeability factor for on top of dips, salads or puddings. GENIUS!
Yikes I forgot about my cheesey crumbles. I’ve been so good at hiding everything from Rod they must’ve got lost at the back of the cupboard. Oh well, I’ll eat them tomorrow.
My package came super quick and the packaging is just lovely.
Viva have certainly sourced some amazing quality foods and I LOVE their mission “to help our hipster UK community eat insanely good and crazy healthy with pure products to feed your face and body, the way nature intended”
Definitely very, ginormously highly recommended! I’d give Viva AMAZING out of 10 🙂
For the love of god you must post links to your recipes!! These all look to die for.
These are not for recipes. She’s talking about foods sold on this site:

I have not bought any of these in particular, but have used this site, they are really good.
