Kate Magic, Talk, Party and Food Prep Class!
The lovely Miss Magic will be visiting Edinburgh and Glasgow to grace us with her magic sparkley presence.
Talk at Real Foods, Broughton Street, Edinburgh – 13 April
Talk at Grassroots, Woodlands Road, Glasgow – 14 April
Kate will be cramming in as much as she can of the Raw Magic philosophy. What are the best raw foods to include and which are the best to avoid. How to transition easily and achieve your goals effortlessly, without stress and yo-yo-ing. Some of the common bad habits people slip into and ways to avoid them. How to avoid deficiencies on a raw diet.
And then, what happens when we start getting it right. The natural highs that come from eating the best foods on the planet. The transformations that start to occur in our lives. And why these personal changes are so important to the wider culture and our global environment.
Magic Potluck Party – Flying Duck, Glasgow – 16th April
Kate is bringing some Raw Magic to the Glasgow Potluck group early on Saturday evening.
In traditional potluck style, we request that you bring a raw vegan dish to share.
We’ll also be having party games with prizes, and there will be an array of Raw Living delights to sample, including our world famous Quantum Cake.
This is a child friendly event.
Finally, Kate will be offering a raw food demo class at Grassroots on Sunday, 17th April.
In this four-hour class, Kate will go deeper into the whys and hows of Raw Magic, as well as teaching the basics of raw food cuisine to inspire you to get endlessly creative in the kitchen.
Kate’s food classes are popular because she doesn’t just demonstrate a few recipes. Rather, she shares formulas that can easily be replicated in your kitchen with whichever ingredients you have to hand. You won’t just come away with some set recipes, you’ll come away with a whole new repertoire – how to make dips, dinners, cakes, and sweets.
Kate’s wisdom comes from preparing meals for a family in the domestic environment, and fitting that in around the usual chaos and stresses of a Western 21st century lifestyle. She knows how to make delicious food as quickly and efficiently as possible, and all the little labour saving tips which ensure you are not in the kitchen for hours every day, slaving over your dehydrator.
There are plenty of opportunities to taste different ingredients and different dishes throughout the afternoon. Whether you’re a total beginner or you’ve been at it for years, we guarantee you’ll find the day entertaining, uplifting, inspiring, informative, and just downright useful.
