When you’ve been a raw foodist as long as I have you KNOW that Raw Banoffee Creme Tart from Inspiral Lounge is the breakfast of champions. IS.
I’m properly bat shit crazy about this stuff. Seriously, if you want to get me in to bed just buy me a shit tonne of this stuff and I.am.there.baby. Well, almost 😉 God. Must stop alluding to prostitution, especially for cake, send money then I’ll buy my own cake. I might share some with you. Actually, that’s a lie.
And yes that is a cup of coffee in the background. What of it? I can drink coffee. You’re not the boss of me.
I have to say I’ve really moved away from ANY raw cake (or stuff in general) that uses loads of nuts, cashews or agave. Cue every raw cake on the planet. Ok, that’s a lie. Most raw cakes in UK rely heavy on these items. Heavy on the nuts and seeds and full o’ nasty agave. Bleugh. Saf, take note. Get it sorted! Irish moss is way more nutritious and lighter on the digestion.
That’s why I am LOVING this cake to bits. No agave. No cashews. Just lots of lovely ingredients. It’s super soft, light, feels fluffy in your tummy and so fucking delicious I could eat a bath full of it. Ok, so it has soya lecithin, maybes not theeee best but still. Check it out. You must buy this. You simply must for fear the very universe itself will implode if you don’t.
Check out the ingredients:
Available from Wholefoods and Planet Organic (London) and other outlets that I haven’t discovered or made up yet. Or better still, go in to Inspiral Lounge in London and buy some. Tell them I sent you. They’ll not know who I am and probably look at you funny but I figure if enough people do it that might be a good laugh, right?
Holla £3.99 per slice and worth every cent. Oh YES!
