We had the Glasgow raw food group’s halloweeeeeeeeen party yesterday. It was bloody awesome ho ho ho. I got a smashing kid’s halloweeeeeen STAR WITCH outfit (for age 10). Marvellous! Loved the hat, might wear it on the regular. Here are some photos of our amazing day 🙂
Sarah from gorgeous Grassroots made choc apples covered in hemp seeds. I bit in to one and got choc all over my nose so started chopping away with a plastic knife. Delightful 🙂 You can get these in Grassroots to buy!
Sarah also brought real cacao pods which she smuggled out of Italy…I mean, no she didn’t! These are amazing, I’ve never had cacao straight from the pod before. It’s got a really fruity taste and lots of dark chocolatey depth. Beautiful!
Gail made the best raw chocolate cake in the universe, called Maid Marion cos she came as Rawbin Hood 🙂 Isn’t it amazing? This cake deserves an award!
We had to cut her head off to see what was inside…
This is Declan
He hosted the potluck at his ginormous flat and made lovely cacao parcels
Sarah made pumpkin pies without the pumpkin…talk about pumpkin surprise. She used carrot juice and lovely spices, just gorgeous!
Kelly brought fabby key lime moussesssesss
I had a cabbage crisis (don’t ask) in the morning so my spooooky spring rolls turned in to er, oriental dips. Yummy.
So yes, that was our lovely potluck yesterday. The next one on Wednesday is at Grassroots but is TOTALLY BOOKED OUT. I tell you, Glasgow IS the raw food community capital of the UK! LOVE IT!!!
