how to make your hair grow FAST

By Emma Feb 25 2

I’ve wanted long hair ever since I was a little girl.  Up until the age of about 9 I had the most gorgeous long hair, so long in fact that I could sit on it.  That was until one day (this was around 1988) my parents thought it’d be really cool if I got it all cut off and made in to a spike!  If you don’t know what that is, it looks kinda like this (I shit you not):

spikey hair 80s

weren't the 80s great?

For probably the last 15 years my hair’s been just below shoulder length but for some reason it just never seems to grow much further.  I don’t get this whole idea of keeping getting your hair cut to make it grow longer.  In fact, the last time I went to the hairdresser (not naming names) I told him I wanted to grow it long and could he just take 1/2 inch off the ends.  Snip snip snip 24 million inches he took off!  A man’s understanding of inches and a woman’s are very different I find 😉

Moving on.  My lovely friend Star Khechara recommended Horsetail Herb for making your hair grow super fast and super strong so I promptly went out and bought Horsetail Tincture, Horsetail Juice and Horsetail Herbal Tea from Woodlands Herbs on Woodlands Road in Glasgow (they deliver).  I just boil up the tea with Nettle and Dandelion tea and then drop the juice and tincture in to that so that there isn’t so much horsing around hahaha…too funny!  It tastes nice actually, although I also add in a tsp of xylitol or honey to sweeten.

So what’s so good about it?

Horsetail herb contains the highest amount of silica of all known herbs.  Silica helps to support the skin and connective tissue and to strenghten hair and nails.  As we get older, the source of silica in our bodies becomes exhausted, resulting in wrinkles, dry skin, dull lifeless hair, and brittle nails and bones.  Silica has been regarded as nature’s building block and the answer to healthier, younger looking, more radiant skin, hair and nails.

I’ve been taking all three for almost two months now and I have to say the results have been amazing!

My hair has definitely grown a lot quicker (and is shinier and stronger) and my nails are super long and strong too!  There is one downside and that’s that I’ve noticed I need to go for my waxing a bit more often.  Unfortunately hair grows in places ladies would rather it didn’t. I mean legs and underarms before anyone comments something clever 😉

So if you’re looking for long, strong, shiny, hair and nails this is definitely the herb for you!

Seeing as I’m in an 80s mood 🙂
