Gail Evans makes THE best raw cake you’ll ever taste in your whole life. Fact. The beauty of her raw cake creations lies not only in the fact that they are super healthy and nutritious, not even in the amazing taste sensations but also in the pain-staking perfection, beauty and the passion she puts in to each and every individual delight.
I asked Gail to make me a cake to send to Iceland. And then I was really arsey. I told her it had to be made with xylitol (the only sweetener that I can tolerate) and that I wanted it to be coconut and chocolate and hemp based. Did she tell me to sod off? No. Would I have? Almost certainly. Look what she created!
That readers, is a Scotland flag made using edible flowers! I almost cried when I saw it!
You see, Gail is a genius. She actually puts a lot of thought, creativity, raw food knowledge and LOVE in to each and every item. Everything she makes is a work of art!
How does she do it? We’ll never know. Hopefully she’ll show Ella (her daughter) how to do it. The reason I say this is because my Gran made the best soup in the world. I know everyone thinks their Gran did but believe me, you’re wrong. It was mine. Then she died. And selfishly (still love you Gran) took the bloody recipe to the grave! So nobody will be able to make the best soup in the world ever again. So yeah Gail, make sure you tell Ella. Or me! Yeah, sod Ella tell me.
