Happy Chrimboid to you all. Hope you had a magical time, I did 🙂
Thought I’d share this amazing recipe I’ve been having SOLIDLY (even tho it’s liquidy) for the past week. It’s sooooo good I can’t stop eating it. I’ve decided cucumbers are my favourite fruit of all time! Literally eating them like they’re going out of fashion. As if cucumbers will ever go out of fashion of course…
It’s not technically a smoothie cos I make it in the food processor but it’s not really a soup or a dip or anything. Actually, does it need to be anything? It just is… (ooh profound).
Ultimate skin pleaser breakkie
1 cucumber, chopped
1/2 grapefruit, juiced – use normal citrus press thing
1/2 lime, juiced – as above
small handful parsley
Add all ingredients to the food processor and process until well broken down (not like depressed). Put in bowl.
Take the other half of the grapefruit (and lime if you’re feeling zesty) and chop in to small pieces. Plop in to the bowl. Done
This is sooooooo super yummy, great for morning cos it’s very hydrating and amazing for your skin. Cucumber is a great tonic for the complexion, contains vitamin e and is a great source of silica. Grapefruit is high in vitamin c which assists in the production of collagen (gives your skin elasticity) and the antioxidants help to reduce damage to the skin by free radicals (pesky radicals). Parsley helps to reduce swelling and redness, lightens the skin and helps to tonify. Marvellous 🙂
Will blogify my amazing chrimboid hamper in the next few days, happy to say I’m still munching my way throught it 🙂
Seem to be obsessed with old dance stuff these days. REALLY love dancing.
