Hello remember me? I write this blog…sometimes. Bla bla, I’ve been away jet-setting again to gay Paris. Had a bloody marvellous time although the raw restaurant there Poussez-Poussez (does that mean push push?) was shut TWICE. Not the best but joy of joys the gods of amazingness (they do exist by the way) were shining their little lights of joy all over the gay Paris and led us to the lovely Voy Alimento which is a superfood cafe. It’s not all raw but it is out of this world. I had a mini quinoa burger type thing topped with cacao and what tasted like mesquite sauce with masses of raw sprouts and assorted veggies in a sweet sauce. Simply the most outstanding meal ever…ok I always say that but I always mean it at the time 🙂 Ok so I totally forgot to take a photo of it (great blogger amn’t I?) BUT I did take a photo of the yummy choc pudding dessert we had. This was unreal. I had the spicy raw choc pudding and Rod had the sweet version both topped with a gorgeous maca and mesquite sauce. AH-MAZING! Then I bought three bars of raw chocolate…as you do.
So that was Paris. Here is the website to the rocking superfood cafe if any of y’all want to check it out…or practice learning superfoods in French 🙂
What else? Oh my raw food classes in Glasgow are nearly finished! Had such amazing feedback last week from my students, it always makes me feel so blessed to be doing this type of thing. It’s great to know you’re really making a difference to people.
I went to my very own class yesterday. Not raw food but raw skincare! I don’t even need to tell you how in to natural skincare products I am because, as avid readers of my blog, you already know that 😉 The class was run by herbal medicalist (is that how you say that?) Bill Cleeve of Woodlands Herbs in Glasgow. Groovy shop, check it out if you’ve not already. Bill recently ran the wild food forage class in the West End, awesome. Anyway, I figured it would compliment the Diploma course I’m doing in Holistic Skincare Formulation ran by the sexy Star Khechara and we got to make lots of sexy samples of stuff. Check it out:
We made so much stuff. Had to keep finding new bits of my body to rub things in to 🙂 I was soooo soft and smelled like a big rose afterwards (I have a thing for rosewater I’ve discovered). It was really good fun and shows you how easy it is to make delicious skincare. You don’t have to go out and buy nasty shit for a trillion quid when you can prance around your kitchen listening to Prince and make your own then lick it off if you get a bit peckish? It truly is a WIN WIN WIN situation and you can never have too many wins!
I’m off to Iceland on Wednesday. I’ll see about a cheeky wee blog before I go but I’m not promising 😉
Ecstatic ecstacy on fire with cacao on top!
