3 raw chocolate recipes in 1

woop, what’s my fascination with three all of a sudden eh? hmm.  I made this raw chocolate sauce and did 3 things with it so thought i’d share with you.  I’ve had way toooo much choc to be writing a blog post but there you go. will try and keep my crackao high ramblings to a minimum.

soooo here’s the choccy sauce recipe

  • about 8 tbsp melted raw coconut butter – i discovered coconoil at a health event i was at over the weekend, it’s the dog’s bollocks of coconut butters!  here’s a link to the site if you want to check it out
  • 3- 4 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut palm sugar (or sweetner of choice)

This makes quite a lot of sauce so adapt quantities as necessary.

First thing I did was add about half the sauce to an almond milk (1 cup almonds & 3 cups water – no sweetner as I knew I was adding the sauce) and made a yummy chocco milk.

Second thing I did was take some of that chocco milk and pour about 2 cups of it over 3 tbsp chia seeds to make milky choco chia pudding.

Third thing I did was coat a punnet of strawberries in the left-over chocco sauce and leave to set in the fridge for yumbo choc strawbs for dinner.  Chocolate covered strawberries are the best invention ever invented

If you have any more sauce left over (or no strawbs) you can chuck in some nuts/goji berries or hemp seeds and mix well, leave in moulds in the fridge and have chocco sweeties on tap 🙂

I am being so incredibly naughty these days.  I probably wouldn’t advocate eating this much raw chocolate in a day…or a week maybes 🙂  Lots of salads and sprouts and greens are very sexy and nice but apart from huge salads every day I’ve been erring on the side of naughty raw too much I think.  I am going to be extra good when I get back from Barcelona and have plenty of greeeeeen juices to balance out the over-consumption of raw choc and raw cake and raw ice-cream lately.  Actually, I reckon it might be hormonal…ok who am I kidding? I just like bloody chocolate 🙂

I’m off to Barcelona tomorrow till the weekend so it’ll be a bitty quiet from me…oh no! 🙂

    Uh-oh. ….cacao overdose alert Emma! Ted knows it! those recipes look super duper yum. Have od-ed a bit of choc lately myself so am a bit off it. Will have to wait a few days till I feel like trying those recipes (and till I get round to buying more cacao butter).

    Did make a delish almond milk choc drink earlier though, add that to your choccy list! almond milk, cacao powder, teensy tiny bit of cacao butter, agave, pinch of salt and tiny bit of rum extract….heaven 🙂 Have fun in Espana.
