17 ways to eat more raw food

I wanted to share with y’all a sexy little extract of ideas from my latest me-book So You Want To Be A Raw Foodist? The e-book takes you through, step by step, how to get started with raw food and the best ways to incorporate more raw food in to your existing diet (without having to go 100% raw).

So here for your viewing delight is 17 ideas on how to incorporate more raw food in to your delicious day!

1.

Eat one extra piece of fruit/portion of veg/handful of seeds or nuts per day.  You can manage one right?

 

 

 

2.

Enjoy a salad with your lunch or dinner (or both)

 

 

 

3.

om barEnjoy a raw chocolate bar instead of a conventional chocolate or candy bar

 

 

4.

vegetable juiceJuice some fruits/vegetables and have this before your normal breakfast (cartons of juice don’t count) 🙂  If you don’t have the time to make your own consider buying pre-made quality raw juice

 

 

5.

Experiment with recipes and eat a raw breakfast every second or third day

 

 

 

6.

green smoothieEnjoy a raw smoothie for lunch, if you can (course you can), try a green one now and again!

 

 

 

7.

raw veggie pateTry out some raw lunch recipes e.g. soup or veggie pate to accompany your typical lunch of sandwich or wrap

 

 

8.

Go raw for a full day one day a week (or month)

raw soup recipeEnjoy a raw starter before your main meal

 

 

 

 

10.

raw dessert russel jamesEnjoy a raw dessert after dinner

 

 

 

11.

nut milkExperiment with making different nut milks.  These are a great base for smoothies to make milkshakes!

raw granolaMake a raw granola to have for breakfast for a couple of days

 

 

 

13.

fruit on breakfast cerealAdd chopped fresh (not tinned) fruit and berries to your breakfast cereal or porridge

 

 

14.

raw pasta sauceMake a raw curry/pasta sauce to accompany steamed or cooked vegetables or pasta

 

 

 

15.

raw curryMake a cooked curry/pasta sauce to accompany raw vegetables and rice or pasta

 

 

 

16.

hemp seedsAdd superfoods such as hemp seeds, sea vegetables or bee pollen to your breakfast, lunch or dinner

 

 

 

17.

Ask yourself “How can I get more raw food in to this meal?”.  This will open your mind up to the endless possibilities.
