HEY HEY HEY! Promise I’ve not had chocolate before writing this blog post but I have had TWO things this morning that I want to share with you because right now, I’m a supershero. Yep, I’m FLYING about the house getting things done and feeling bloody amazing! Thank god I haven’t exercised this morning or I might bloody transcend I feel so good!! 🙂
Anyway, Number 1. The lovely Elwin at Lion Heart Herbs (check here for earlier blogs on Elwin) now has a fabulous new shop on his site with a multitude of health supporting products including this lil beaut:
It’s an amazing blend of whole foods in a base of aloe vera juice, cherry juice and honey designed to provide your body with the vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, amino acids and enzymes it deserves! I’m not going to spell out ALL the ingredients because a) that’s boring and b) you can read them on Elwin’s site. Suffice to say it ticks the following boxes if you’re in to box ticking:
- Whole foods from seaweed & sea vegetables provide a variety of health benefits including anti-oxidant and anti-cancer compounds.
- Aloe vera juice provides a variety of digestive enzymes to assist your body in assimilating nutrients.
- Fulvic Acid enhances the absorption of nutrients.
- Wild cherries provide a pleasing flavor and a number of anti-oxidants.
- Sweetened with honey which also provides b-complex vitamins and has many energizing properties.
- Eleuthero provides an energy boost without the letdown that usually follow caffeine use.
MASSIVE DISCLAIMER IN HERE: don’t do what I do unless you’re a bit mental and think to hell with the consequences. You’re only meant to take 1 tablespoon of this a day buttttt I LOVE the taste of it so much I’ve been taking 2…ok that’s a lie, 3…sometimes 4!! This could be part of the reason why I’m in LOVE with this and after I’ve drank some (er only once from the bottle) I want to do acrobats around the kitchen!
Seriously though, it’s so stupidly nutritious, easy to take and jam-packed with everything you could ever ask for to start your day off amazingly.
Phew! Number 2. I made the most gorge GREEEEEN smoothie this morning. I’m calling it “What the bloody hell is that?” cos 9.9 people out of 10 would ask you if they caught you drinking it…
This recipe makes 1 full VITAMIX jug – err 2 litres
What the bloody hell is that?
4 sticks of celery
1/2 punnet blueberries
handful goji berries
3 sprigs mint
1 tsp E3 Live (opt)
1 tsp Chlorella (opt)
1 tsp Greener Grass (opt)
1 tbsp Lecithin
1 tsp Algae (opt)
2 cups water kefir (you can use normal water whatever that is anyway)
Blend and ENJOY whilst doing acrobats round the kitchen
See the optional ingredients? They are optional but I do think you should put them in or at least something equivalent like another mad powdery ‘hing but if you don’t have them then that’s still cool. Sounds like it might be quite minging and to be fair I did kinda wonder what it was gonna turn out like but it was awe-some! Check out my other ways to have a great morning here
Anyway that truly is enough bloody nonsense for today. Have an amazing one…I KNOW YOU WILL!!
