It’s Friday! Which means KALE CRISPS – you know it does right? I love LOVE kale crisps and am delighted to see Mr Kale in all his kale glory making his way to the shops for our kale pleasure. Because I’ve said (or written) kale that many times it’s starting to sound weird, do you ever get that? ANYWAY! I made some kale crisps. Easy as a big kale pie. My camera is being weird so some of the photos are a bit dodge.
Get some kale
Add prob 1-2 tbsp oil, 1/2-1 tsp salt, 1/2 lemon juiced and massage very, very, very well. I do it for about five mins and make sure I sing a song to the kale at the same time so it’s nice and relaxed. Although with my singing I probably stress it out…or kill enzymes haha!
Then I add some nutritional yeast. You don’t have to do this but it makes it cheeeeeeseeey. Prob about 1 tbsp.
Then pop in the dehydrator (you could try using your oven on the lowest setting with the door open) for a few hours
And voila le kale de crispy crisp
Got forty billion things to do as I’m off to Rome tomorrow so this is just a wee short one. Have a fab weekend!
Kale Friday 🙂
