We’re all about the glow, right? I mean, raw food and the glow, they’re practically man and wife, yin and yang, fork and knife, teapot and teabag. You get me.
And we all know that if we want to get super duper glow, we want to up, seriously UP, the amount of water-rich food we’re eating. Green juices, green smoothies, lots of super fresh, nutritious fruit and vegetables = GLOW. We know this.
BUT, I need to share this secret with you. Another way you can get some serious glow on. It isn’t even a secret because those ancient Chinese medicinal dudes have been in to this stuff for a long time (like, 2000 years), viewing it as one of the top tonic medicines. Bless them. They know their shit!
I’m talking about PEARL POWDER. Yes, pearl. As in powder made from actual pearls. We’re not even going to mention pearl necklaces.
Pearl powder stimulates collagen, improving skin growth making your skin smoother, softer and radiant. It’s super antioxidant-rich and can accelerate skin healing from inflammatory conditions such as exzema, acne, rashes etc. Pearl powder is reputed to support the liver, which might explain the positive impact on the skin.
I’ve been using this for a few days, internally and topically (as a face mask) and the results have been amazing! My skin is shiny (in a good way), luminous I guess…glowing! From just a few days! Today someone remarked that I looked radiant. Now THAT is what I’m talking about right there. I notice my skin feels way softer and smoother.
You can get pearl powder from Aggressive Health and whilst it might seem a bitty expensive, you really only need a very small amount (recommends 1/4 teaspoon) each day to get amazing results. I mix 1/4 tsp with 3 TBSP of honey and leave on as a mask for 20 minutes.
